💧 WATER SERVICE UPDATE & PUBLIC NOTICE 💧

All customers whose water was shut off this morning in the following areas have had their water service restored:

📍 Ash Ave
📍 Cloud Ct
📍 Weeptes Dr
📍 2nd St & Main St, from Hwy 12 to Birch Ave
📍Aspen Ln

The water was temporarily shut off while Little Village connected to the water main line.

⚠️ Please be advised: Work in this area is still ongoing. Water service will need to be shut off again to complete the remaining line work. A public notice will be sent out as soon as possible with information regarding the upcoming water shutoff.

When you first turn on your faucet, you may notice air spitting or sputtering from the faucet. This is normal and will naturally clear as the water runs and the lines flush.

Due to the extreme heat, poor air quality, and for the safety of our community, we have unfortunately made the decision to reschedule Movies in the Park.

The health and well-being of our families, children, volunteers, and staff are our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Please watch our Facebook page for the new date and time. We look forward to enjoying GOAT with everyone soon!

A colorful, movie-themed cancellation poster announces that Movies in the Park has been canceled. The background features a starry night sky with a full moon, film strips, and a large outdoor movie screen displaying the title "GOAT" with an image of a goat wearing a blue football jersey. A large red "CANCELED" stamp stretches diagonally across the center of the poster. At the bottom, a wooden sign reads: "The movie 'GOAT' scheduled for Thursday, July 23 has been CANCELED." Nearby are movie-themed graphics including a bucket of popcorn and a film clapperboard. Along the bottom, white text says, "We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone's understanding. Thank you for your continued support!" A blue butterfly logo representing the City of Lapwai appears at the bottom center above the words "CITY OF LAPWAI." The design uses bold blue, purple, black, and red colors to create an eye-catching announcement while clearly communicating that the event has been canceled.

Lapwai Days 2026
Our office will be closed on Monday, July 13th, and we will resume our regular business hours on Tuesday, July 14th. 💙🎶 Thank You, Lapwai! 🎶💙 What an incredible Lapwai Days 2026! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. It was so wonderful to see our community, families, friends, and visitors come together for an amazing weekend filled with fun, music, laughter, and memories. A huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors, our talented bands—*KATZ** and *Harmonious Funk Band**—our photographer/videographer, and every volunteer who donated their time and energy to help make this event such a success. We truly couldn't have done it without each and every one of you. Despite the hot weather, everyone came together with smiles and community spirit, making this another unforgettable Lapwai Days. We are so grateful for your support and for helping make this tradition one to remember. *Please note:** Due to our short staff and after a busy weekend, the Mayor has graciously given City Hall staff *Monday off** to rest and recover. We will return *Tuesday** to finish cleanup and wrap up another successful Lapwai Days. From the bottom of our hearts, *thank you for making Lapwai Days 2026 such a wonderful celebration.** We can't wait to see everyone again next year! 💙🎉
